Ashley Seebaluck

Director & Head of Business

Ashley graduated with a BCom from University of Mumbai and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”).

Ashley started his career in London in tax in a small audit and tax practice, before moving to a top 10 firm in Central London to train as an auditor. Ashley returned to Mauritius in 2012, following a rich career in London spanning over 12 years, and joined a large multinational pharmaceutical company, heading the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Team.

In this role, Ashley led a group of talented professionals driving the business by providing technical support (IFRS, Tax advisory and Hedging strategies), ensuring compliance with tax regulators in various jurisdictions and advising on the trade route set up of the company’s manufacturing and commercial activities to optimize tax. Ashley was also responsible to retain, nurture and develop the next generation of Finance professionals at the company.

Before co-founding Fortree, Ashley was the CFO of a listed cement company in Mauritius.

In his spare time, Ashley is an avid reader, football enthusiast and keen on personal fitness.

Tina Danhoo-Seebaluck

Company Secretary

Tina is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) & holds a BSC in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.

Tina trained in a medium sized audit practice in London, auditing companies in diverse industry segments: real estate, manufacturing, e-commerce, financial services and other trading companies.

After 10 rich years in London, Tina relocated to Mauritius in 2012, and set up an accounting and audit practice, supporting small and medium-sized owner managed businesses. Tina specialises in financial & management, accounting, advisory services and tax compliance for her clients in various industries, including global businesses. She is passionate about solving problems, data analysis to guide decision making and participating in strategic decision and recommendations for her clients, in addition to helping other people in her team to advance in their careers by identifying and leveraging their strengths.

Tina’s other interests include reading, movies and cooking.
